This course teaches the fundamentals of how to optimize a cost-effective PM/ECCM process for your operation and implement a PM/ECCM program using practical experience from the field and case studies. PM/ECCM philosophy adapts the documentation method and level of detaildepending on the consequence of breakdown (criticality of the equipment/process). You willpractice the concepts learned in class using common components, equipment and processes. The bottom line therefore is that unless the PM program is successful, the rest of themaintenance functions will be sub-optimized.
